Start Calculation

Check configuration & adjust

Prior to the actual calculation, it must be ensured that the set calculation configuration corresponds to the intended calculation parameters. To this end, open the Calculation configuration dialog in the Calculation menu or click the icon on the symbol bar, see Configuration of calculation.

Consistency check

A consistency check of the project is performed before each calculation. For a list of all checks, see Consistency Check.

Symbol bar

In addition to the menu entry, an icon is also available in the symbol bar, see Symbol Bar.

Calculation

Before each calculation the room pairs are updated. Then the calculation is performed for all room pairs activated in the Results mode (see „Results“ Mode). Starting a calculation is possible in several ways besides the procedure via the menu bar Calculation | Start calculation. On the one hand, the calculation can be started via "Start calculation" in the lower area of the list box in the Results mode as well as via the calculator icon in the symbol bar and in the Result table (see Dialog Result Table). On the other hand, after confirming the Calculation presets (see Dialog Calculation Presets), the selected room pairs are activated and a calculation is performed. A calculation is also performed when confirming the configuration of calculation (see Configuration of calculation).

Calculation presets

The call is made via the icon in the lower area of the list field in the Results mode or in the results table (see Dialog Result Table). By using the calculation presets (see Dialog Calculation Presets), different options can be used to activated and deactivated room pairs. The activation state of the room pairs is automatically transferred from the results table to the structure in the list box of the Results mode.
