Chapter 6 - Interoperability

Interoperability (Interop) with Cadna software systems refers to the ability of CadnaR, CadnaB and CadnaA to interact. This makes it possible to connect the fields of indoor acoustics, building acoustics and noise outdoors.

The implementation of interoperability is described in Implementation of Interoperability. It generally describes the

  • basics of the interop calculation,
  • the procedure of transmission calculation as well as
  • the determination of the external sound pressure level in front of the surface of the façade walls.

The Application of Interoperability contains the different use cases and a step by step guide to perform the different operations.
