Start CadnaR Calculation

The following features are available within the CadnaB-CadnaR interop link:

Calculate Reverberation Time“

Calculations of the reverberation time by CadnaR for rooms modeled in CadnaB. This requires CadnaR to be installed with option T, at least.All necessary input for the sound-absorbing properties of the surfaces of the respective rooms are made in CadnaB with subsequent calculation in CadnaR, whereby the calculation results are transferred back to CadnaB.

Calculate Room-to-Room Transmission

Calculation of the sound transmission from one room to an adjacent room using the room geometry and the transmitting elements modeled in CadnaB. The actual calculation occurs in CadnaR, with the results are transferred to CadnaB.

CadnaR Calculation Configuration

In both of the above cases, the following CadnaR calculation configuration is used automatically:

  • calculation method („Calculation“ tab): Particles
  • options for „Particles“: „automatic settings“ option
