Symbol Bar

Symbols enable menu commands or functions to be called up directly by clicking on them. The following commands are available. Some commands can also be triggered via the keyboard (see Keyboard Commands).

Project-specific Commands

creates a new project
opens an existing project
imports an existing file into a new project
saves the current project
saves the current project under a different name
closes the current project

Edit Functions

allows selection with the mouse. Several objects can be selected by holding down the CTRL key.
moves the current limits (alternatively: hold down the middle mouse button / wheel and move)
prevents objects from being moved with the mouse (on/off)
enables the mouse to „jump“ in steps with this distance when entering and moving objects (click here for reset)

Object Types

creates a new wall by clicking and dragging the mouse
enables walls to be entered as a polygon by multiple clicks (right-click or mode change ends the polygon line)
creates a new vertical joint. To do this, the symbol must be placed on a wall.
creates a new bitmap by clicking and dragging the mouse
creates a built-in or a small component in a wall (e.g. door, window, ventilation opening, roller shutter box, etc.). To do this, the symbol must be placed on a wall.
creates a new label
deletes all selected objects,
NOTE: not available for all object types

Note

In the "Project" mode, some of these object types can also be selected using the keyboard (see Keyboard Commands).

3D view

opens the 3D view (see 3D-View)

Calculation

generates room pairs and restarts the calculation
opens the configuration of calculation (see Configuration of calculation)
opens the auralization dialog (see Start Auralization)

Scale & Storeys

for manual input of scale (or by using the mouse wheel)
selection of storey
one storey down/up
opens the Edit Storey dialog (see Edit Storeys)
