„Usages“ Mode

This mode enables the assignment of usage types to rooms.

Note

The usages have changed with version CadnaB 2023 and should be checked when loading files that were saved with a previous version.

Usages for ISO 12354

When using ISO 12354, the „Usage“ is for information purposes only and has no effect on the calculation / requirement.

Usages for DIN 4109

Based on the assigned „Usage“ and in some cases the apartment assignment, a building acoustic requirement can be detected (Automatic requirements detection).

The following „Usages“ are currently available:

Button „Edit color mapping“

This button can be used to edit the color assigned to each type of room usage. To do this, click on a color box in the "Color" column.
