CadnaB 2025

Bugfix

Version 2025 also contains bug fixes, which can have an influence on the calculation results, see below in the "Bug fixes" section. Due to these changes, we recommend an update, which is available on our website (after login).

New Features

  • Cloud licensing now available: CadnaB can be run without a hardware USB dongle.
  • With the “use actual dimensions” feature, wall thicknesses and linings are now considered in geometry determination.
  • Option DB: Values now also available for calculations according to DIN 4109.
  • User-defined vibration reduction indices Kij can now be used spectrally.
  • Interior levels can now be displayed spectrally and graphically.
  • New keyword "RW": The sound insulation values or sound level difference of inserted/small elements (e.g. windows) can now be displayed directly in the 2D view.

General changes and Bugfixes

  • Generate report: Sending and receiving rooms are now highlighted in red and blue.
  • Correct area calculation for non-contiguous separating ceilings between rooms.
  • Extended input range for S_F_lab and S_f_lab to [0; 50] m².
  • Range for User-defined vibration reduction indices Kij (single value) extended to [-20; 40] dB.
  • Fixed issues when loading bitmaps via file paths.
  • Requirements from other *.cnb files are now fully imported via the Requirements Browser.
  • ISO 12354: Correct flanking transmission output in reports.
  • Generate report: Sorting of transmission paths is now respected for airborne noise transmission.
  • 3D renderer: Watermarks (Academic/Demo versions) no longer cause issues.
  • “About CadnaB” dialog now also shows the Customer Number.
  • Version number now aligned with CadnaA and CadnaR.
  • Unified naming of CadnaB options in the “About CadnaB” dialog and launcher.
  • Keyword “Volume” now shows the correct wall volume.
  • Removed CadnaA import filter (*.cna) due to lack of relevance.
  • Fixed issue in the Kalksandstein (*.ssc) import filter.
