„Noise levels“ Mode

Interior noise calculation

In the "Noise levels" mode, when using ISO 12354 the interior level present in a room or the exterior levels present at individual façade elements can be defined. If DIN 4109 is applied, only the definition of the „relevant exterior noise level“ („Maßgeblicher Außenlärmpegel“) is used for the calculation (a definition of an interior level is ignored).

List box

The list box contains two categories:

  • Interior level: The interior level can be defined per room.
  • Façade level: All walls are listed, whereby a definition of the façade level is only considered for outer walls. For interior walls, the façade level is ignored.

Selection interior/façade level

For selection of an interior or façade level, double-click in the respective row. The Construction Browser opens (see Construction Browser), which also contains the noise levels. Select a noise level spectrum and then start the calculation. The results will then be displayed in the Results mode on the tab „Interior Level“ if the evaluation parameter has been selected correctly (see Results Dialog (ISO 12354)).

Note

Note that a calculation is only performed if a permissible evaluation parameter is selected in the calculation configuration.
