Text Files (.txt, .rtf)
With both formats the calculation results or object tables can be exported, either as unformatted data (text file TXT) or as formatted data (Rich Text Format RTF). To this end, select on the dialog Save as either „Text Files (*.txt)“ or „Rich Text Format (*.rtf)“ from the list of file types.

Via the „Options“ button a template file *.txt or *.rtf may be selected or the selected template file edited.

Dialog options
- button „Select“: This button enables to select a template file for export. The template file for export must have the file extension TXT or RTF. Unlike with export of RTF files, graphs and table formats are lost with TXT files.
- button „Edit“: After clicking this button the currently selected template file can be edited and saved with a new name.
- option „Overwrite Output File“: This option is activated by default. An existing export file is overwritten this case.
- option „Append to Output File“: With this option activated the exported data is then appended to the end of an existing file.
- option „Start Word Processor after Export“: With this option activated the software application linked to file type of the export file is launched automatically displaying the exported data.
- box „Command Line“: If the application linked to the file type of the export file shall not be used, any other suitable application can be invoked via the command line.Example: excel %sstarts MS-Excel to display the data, where % s is the placeholder for the file name.
