ASCII-Spectra

This file format offers to import data from text files for the following spectra or library types:

  • sound levels
  • sound reduction indices
  • absorptions

Clicking the "Options" button displays the following dialog:

Note

The options on the dialog match the respective options for the import file format „ASCII-Objects“ (see ASCII-Objects), except for the options listed below.

Object Type

Select the type of library. The imported spectra are generally stored in the local library.

Column Assignment

Besides the ID, the name, the origin („source“) and - in case of sound levels - the type of spectra can be assigned. The type corresponds to the attribute STYPI.

Note

The option „Octave bands“ only toggles the available controls in the dialog, but has no meaning for the calculation or for the generated library entry for the time being.
