Copy group activation

The dialog "Copy group activation" allows to transfer the activation states of groups (i.e. the "+" and "-" entries under Table|Group) from another variant to the current variant.

Copy variant

If a new variant V_new is to be created on the basis of an already existing variant V_existing, the following procedure could be followed:

  • Create new variant V_new under Table|Variant (select new variant on the left, assign descriptions and activate the "use variant" checkbox).
  • change to the just created variant V_new (i.e. make the new variant the current variant)
  • via Table | Copy group activation transfer the activation states from the original variant V_existing to V_new.
