Buttons in Object Tables
The button bar shown in the figure below appears on all object tables accessed via the Table menu.
Close
Click this button to close the dialog and to adopt any selected value or data record or to apply changes.
Edit
When clicking this button the dialog Edit Object Table is opened (see Editing Object Tables).
Synchronize Graphics
A selected data record highlights the corresponding graphical object as well. If the graphic object is outside the area visible on the screen, clicking this button will shift to the screen’s center.
Copy
Pressing the button Copy copies the entire table to the clipboard (otherwise press CTRL+C). The table can then be pasted in other applications.
Alternatively, an individual data set can copied and pasted within the table of the same object type in CadnaA (see Object Tables, Inserting a Table Row).
The tables can be printed directly by clicking this button. The print dialog will be displayed.
Note
The keywords for user-defined printout or export of the object tables can be found in the online help searching for „Attributes“ and „Table“ or in the CadnaA manual „Attributes, Variables, and Keywords“.
Font
This button enables to select the font and the character size on the screen and for printing. For object tables, this setting is not saved, so it is lost when the file is closed.
For the Result Table (see Result Table), however, the changes are saved and kept.
Help
opens the help feature
MultiSelect on/off
Toggles the filtering of the object table display to the current multiselection, grayed out if no multiselection is available.
Note
When calling the object table with existing multiselection, it is automatically filtered to the multiselection.
