Scanning into Single Values

Note

In order to display the English text boxes select the variant V02=ENG on the toolbar.

The total length of all roads in the project shall be determined.

Selected is the Object Type „Road“ and the option „Single Values“ for „Action/Sum into“. For „Formula for Summation“ enter the attribute „len_p“ or select it from the attribute list.

Note

The attribute „len_p“ returns the length of a polygon. Alternatively, PO_LEN could have been selected from the list of object-specific attributes (below the separating line). The general attributes for areas and polygon lengths above the separating line are available for all types of objects (see below).

After confirming with OK the result is displayed on a new dialog.

Thus, the entire road scheme has a total length of 32114.23 m.

In the same way, the number of buildings can be evaluated or the total sound level of all point sources, or any other value using the numerical attributes of the selected object type.
