Object Snap

Open the Object Snap dialog via the menu Options.

In order to connect a line object to an existing line, the new first point will be positioned precisely on the last point of the existing line, provided the distance of the two points is less than the entered object snap. In the same way partial areas can be joined seamless to a larger area without any gaps using the object snap feature.

Further, point, line and vertical area sources and receives can be positioned at the entered distance in front of a building‘s facade. The default distance is 0.05 m = 5 cm.
