GeoPackage

A GeoPackage (.gpkg) is an open, SQLite-based format for storing geospatial data. It supports vector and raster data, tiles, and metadata in a single file, enabling efficient data sharing and interoperability across GIS platforms.

In CadnaA, the following import options are available:

• Allocate Object Type to Layer: For GeoPackage, the layer name to be specified is the name of the SQLite table. If this is not known, software such as “DB Browser for SQLite” can be used to determine the database structure/naming.
• Import only Section
• Simplify Geo automatically
• Unknown Attributes to Memo-Variable
• Process Ring Polygons
• Transformation

Note

Raster data as part of a GeoPackage file cannot be imported to CadnaA.
