ASCII-Spectra

This file format offers to import data from text files for the following spectra types:

  • sound reduction indices
  • absorptions
  • scattering
  • sound power level

Dialog options

Note

The options on the dialog match the respective options for the import file format „ASCII-Objects“ (see above), except for the options listed below.

Object Type

Select the type of library. The imported spectra are generally stored in the local library.

Column Assignment

Besides the ID, the name, the origin („source“) and - if applicable - the type of spectra type can be assigned.

Deactivating the option „just octaves“ enables to assign the third-octave band frequencies.
