CadnaR.scan EOX (*.eox)

This import filter can be used to import EOX files that have been created with the CadnaR.scan app. The objects and structures recognized in the app are imported into CadnaR as box-type obstacles.

The object IDs in CadnaR correspond to the object category or structure type from the app.

  • Align imported room in CadnaR: The scanned room is typically rotated after import into CadnaR. The quickest way to align the room axes of the imported room with those of the surrounding room is to use CTRL+A (select all) and then rotate all objects by holding down the ALT key and left mouse button (see Rotating Objects). The surrounding room can then be reduced in size if necessary (see Room).
  • Assign acoustic properties based on the ID: Instead of assigning absorption and scattering coefficients to CadnaR objects individually, this can also be done on the basis of the ID. The following example shows a sketch of the procedure: the absorption spectrum ABS_Wall available in the local absorption library is to be assigned to all walls.

    • „Modify objects“

      • Action: „Modify attribute“
      • Object type: Box-type Obstacle
      • Condition: ID$==“Wall“

      • Attribute: ALFAL
      • Replace Strings, Replace with: ABS_Wall
