Help menu

The following commands are available:

  • Documentation
  • Check for Updates: This feature checks whether software updates are available. In case the Internet connection makes use of a proxy server, see below.
  • What‘s new (+ toolbar symbol): displaying a news button upon availability of a new messages. Alternatively this menu command can be selected. The news are displayed in the Internet browser selected on the system.
  • About CadnaR:
    • CadnaR version
    • license number
    • installed options
    • customer number
    • expiration date (if any)
    • licensee

Accessing the Documentation

The documentation can be accessed in the following ways:

  1. Menu Help | Documentation | ... opens the homepage of the specific documentation (offline)
  2. Clicking Help buttons in dialogs opens the relevant chapter (offline)
  3. Alternatively, the F1 key can be used (offline)
  4. Website https://doku.datakustik.com/CadnaR/en/ opens the homepage (online)

Access from CadnaR (items 1–3) can also be switched from offline to online. To do this, set the following entry in the INI file:

OpenHelpInBrowser=1

Proxy Server Settings

In case the Internet connection makes use of a proxy server, the required settings occur in the Proxy Server Settings dialog (Options menu).

In case the default setting („Use system‘s proxy“) does not work, the settings must be set up individually. In this case, contact Datakustik for assistance.
